TAI JI – Symbol of Science?

The definition of Science by Cambridge Dictionary
“Science – the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the natural and physical world, or knowledge obtained about the world by watching it carefully and experimenting”
Characteristic of Energy by Albert Einstein
“Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another”
TAI JI is often mistaken as a religious symbol but it not and is much older dating back to 1300BCE and symbolises balance and perpetual energy changes. For example, we can use TAI JI to represent the perpetual change between Day Night; we start at the 12 o’clock position of the symbol. At 12 o’clock position you see it has the largest shade of white that represent midday, brightest and hottest. And as we move through the day towards midnight (clockwise downwards towards 6 o’clock position) brightness and heat give in to darkness and coldness represented by the largest shade of black and the cycle will go on from midnight to midday again… I think the TAI JI in this context represented the structure and behaviour of the natural and physical world and satisfies the definition of Science.
TAI JI is also the basis of all Chinese Metaphysics Subjects.
